It requires genuine planning between you and your new supplier, and it's not a decision that should ever be taken lightly. It's a major change for any business. One that requires dedication, teamwork and a change of mindset.

There are a multitude of reasons why you could be looking to switch from one software (or even a lot of software) to a new one.

But let's assume you've jumped that particular hurdle. You and your team are now seeking to find the right supplier for your needs. Now, there is a wealth of suppliers out there, and not all will offer systems that deliver on your needs. So, start by identifying your requirements.
Figure out what's not working with your existing system. In which areas does it fail to meet expectations? Where are processes slowed? Define your new system against the problems of your current system to determine what any new software absolutely must do to help meet your objectives. Wherever possible, book a demo. This allows you to see your potential new system in action, while offering you the chance to ask questions about the software capabilities.
