Soft Skills Are Important To Us
2019 has been a huge year for enhancing our employee experience. With the introduction of our new Talent Manager, Margaret. We've actively pursued staff training and improvement sessions for our team members. We've had yoga, finance and first aid sessions for the whole office; more intense first aid courses for our three onsite first-aiders; a stress recognition session with Mind Lancashire; marketing and sales training with SalesGeek, as well as our very popular 'training the trainer' sessions, to aid us in being the best we can be for our customers.
We have also continued our weekly tradition of 'Be Brilliant' sessions, where staff can take a half hour, once a week to learn, share and talk about specific areas of interest. Our most recent series of sessions have been around inspiration, where the team have been watching and discussing inspirational speakers from around the world.
It's All About The Podcast!
Podcasts have been all the rage at accessplanit this year. We not only launched our very own Everest Podcast, compiling the best tips, tricks and industry discussion from people in the training industry; we also started an employee podcast club- where we suggest, listen to and discuss various podcasts of interest to us.
