Is it possible to share DataGrid Views and Dashboards with named individuals rather than user roles?

Yes, DataGrid Views can be shared with specific individual users.

For Dashboards, sharing is based on Job Role rather than individual users. If you need to share a dashboard with only a few people, a good approach is to create a dedicated Job Role (for example, Finance Manager) and assign that role to the relevant administrators.

 Can imports be used to change delegates' status? 

Yes. The Import Tool can be used to bulk update existing delegates, including changing their status.

To perform the import successfully, you'll need:

  • The User ID for each delegate (e.g. jesmit)
  • The Course ID for the relevant course (e.g. 12345)
 Can the "Job Role" field be added as a column in DataGrids? 

In the Users DataGrid, the field is available but is labelled "Main User Type Label", which can make it difficult to find.

 How can I change the branding of the Checkout? 

Checkout branding is managed through the Checkout Options page within the Administration menu.

If you can't see this option, it may be because:

  • Your platform is using the older Shopping Basket rather than Checkout Basket, in which case you'll see Shopping Basket Options instead
  • You do not currently have the required permissions (typically Super Admin access)
 Can Klarna be enabled only for high-value purchases or certain course types? 

 This is controlled within Stripe rather than accessplanit, please see Stripe's documentation on payment method rules  

From a sustainability perspective, wouldn't it be better to view reports live in the platform instead of emailing files regularly? 

In most cases, yes. If users already log into the platform regularly, live dashboards and reports are the recommended approach. Scheduled report emails are best reserved for situations where:

  • There is a specific business requirement for emailed reports
  • The recipient does not have access to the platform
Dashboard statistic gadgets show a number, but can I click it to see the underlying records? 

Currently, no. A common workaround is to place a Statistic Gadget above a related DataGrid Gadget, allowing the statistic to highlight an issue while the DataGrid displays the detailed records.
