API Terms of Use: How you can use our API

We’re excited that you’ve chosen to use accessplanit's API to maximise the value from your system and data. 

We developed our APIs to ensure our customers can connect all of their important systems to their accessplanit system to allow them to be more productive and successful.  

When you use our APIs,  you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms, so please take a few minutes to review the API Terms of Use below.

Scope

These API Terms, form a binding "Contract" between you and us. "We," "our" and "us" refers to your accessplanit system, and "you," and "your," refers to the individual, company or legal entity that you represent. The Contract does not grant you any right to access or use our software of APIs (the "Services"), which are be governed by a separate agreement with us (e.g., our Terms of Service).

API Terms of Use

Subject to the restrictions below, we grant you a non-exclusive, worldwide, non-transferable (subject to the section titled "Assignment"), limited license to access our APIs and documentation only as necessary to develop, test and support an integration of your accessplanit system with your other systems or applications

By using our APIs, you agree that you will not: (a) access our APIs or documentation in violation of any law or regulation; (b) access our APIs in any manner that (i) compromises, breaks or circumvents any of our technical processes or security measures associated with the Services, (ii) poses a security vulnerability to customers or users of the Services, or (iii) tests the vulnerability of our systems or networks; (b) access our APIs or documentation in order to replicate or compete with the Services; (d) attempt to reverse engineer or otherwise derive source code, trade secrets, or know-how of our APIs or Services; or (e) attempt to use our APIs in a manner that exceeds rate limits, or constitutes excessive or abusive usage.

When using our APIs, you agree that you will comply with all applicable law, regulation, and third party rights (including without limitation laws regarding the import or export of data or software, privacy, and local laws). You will not use the APIs to encourage or promote illegal activity or violation of third party rights.

API Feed Restrictions

Each individual API Feed end-point is restricted to 5000 requests per hour, unless your accessplanit system is hosted on a dedicated server (please contact our helpdesk team if you are unsure of this). 
 

Our Rights

We reserve the right to do any of the following with or without notice:

  • Charge fees for access to any of the APIs.
  • Offer or cease to offer support for the APIs.
  • Modify the APIs and require you to use those subsequent versions. Future versions of the APIs may not be compatible with your Application and/or Integration. 
  • Require you to use the APIs in a different manner.
  • Deprecate any of the APIs at our sole discretion.
  • If we determine that your use of the APIs is against the interests of us or our Customers, we reserve the right to remove your system access, block your IP address, or otherwise prevent your use of the APIs.
  • We reserve the right to, and you permit us, and/or third-party professionals working at our direction (including auditors, consultants, and/or computer forensics analysts) (collectively, “Auditors”) to  review or audit your books, records, agreements, access logs, third-party audit and examination reports, systems, networks, technologies, facilities (including physical and remote access to data centers and cloud facilities), controls, processes, policies and procedures, which relate to your use of the APIs to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and these terms of use.

Term

These Terms will apply for as long as you use the APIs, have an Integration with the accessplanit system, or until terminated as described by these terms. We may suspend or terminate your use of all or any of the APIs for any reason, and at any time, without liability or other obligation to you.
