Full-time | £45K | OTE £20K+ | Lancaster

Established in 2001, accessplanit provide training management software to businesses that deliver training, allowing them to take a fully integrated approach to every aspect of their business.

As a small, successful and growing SaaS company, we are at a critical stage in our  development. Having recently launched our product to the US market and aiming to more than double our customer base in the next 3 years, we are now looking for a driven and inspirational Head of Sales and Marketing

 

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of Sales & Marketing key responsibilities will be

  • Developing and implementing a sales strategy, driving a high performance, consultative sales culture.
  • Within the sales strategy ensuring marketing activity aligns with the sales, to provide in bound sales opportunities
  • Providing proactive and inspirational leadership to the sales & marketing team, ensuring growth in sales and increase in market share.
  • Awareness of market trends, changing customer requirements, and the competitive landscape, allowing the company to capitalise on potential opportunities and minimise the threats.
  • Coaching developing & motivating the team to deliver challenging but achievable targets.

 

Whilst responsible for the strategic direction of marketing, this is not a role for a marketer.

The position will be based out of our Lancaster office but will require some travel.

 

The Candidate

The role requires an ambitious, results orientated sales professional who is confident and driven but also down to earth and ready to grow with the business.

Experience of selling software, working in the training or education sector, would be extremely beneficial for this role, but not absolutely necessary.

 

 Specifically, you must be able demonstrate

  • Development and implementation of a successful sales strategy
  • Consistent delivery of sales targets in a B2B environment both at an individual and team level
  • Coaching and motivational activities that have delivered results for your team

 

Salary

Basic Salary £45K per annum OTE £20K+
