BiJuCare,
a large independent domiciliary care provider – founded in 1990, has used
Accessplan for
the last 5 years. They use the system to manage all (excluding payroll) their HR
functions from appraisal to mapping reasons for leaving the company.
Accessplan continues
to work for the organisation even when switched off by automatically, emailing the
training manager of awards that are about to expire, subsequently providing a direct
link to book these people on the appropriate courses.
The first time
BiJuCare used the system to produce reports to show Care Standards compliance
for training, the training manager is quoted as saying that "this report would have
taken 4 days to prepare whilst
Accessplan completed it in under 2 seconds". This provider is heavily involved
in providing specialised care services which demand a high and specific level of
training / competency evaluation.
Accessplan's financial planning tools are used to create training budgets
as well as providing data to track the 'true' cost of workforce development – a
tool useful in fee bargaining situations. Training records are maintained by the
Education and Training Provider (ETP) which not only provides a direct audit of
the validity of any award, but saves admin time.
Accessplan has proved to be cost effective in both administration time and
quality of information.
